Cotonou Art Week invites photographers from Benin, Africa and beyond to submit their work for a major public photography exhibition taking place across Cotonou during Cotonou Art Week, 12–19 November 2026.

The exhibition will bring photography into the public space, transforming key locations across the city into open-air platforms for contemporary photographic expression.

We are looking for 12 artists whose photographic practices offer compelling, original and contemporary perspectives on Africa, its people, landscapes, cultures and transformations.
